Door-to-door delivery was once a cornerstone of dairy operations in Germany, and the Moha milk delivery van played a key role in the late 1950s. Operating in the Rhine-Main region, this van ensured the regular supply of fresh milk from the large Moha dairy in Hesse, which opened in 1951 near Frankfurt-Sossenheim station. Moha was the only West German dairy supplying tank cars nationwide on behalf of the US Army, and its ice cream brand competed against major players such as Langnese and Schöller. Although the company ceased operations in 1985, its vehicles remain iconic examples of postwar commercial transport. This finely crafted WIKING model faithfully reproduces the Moha milk delivery van, complete with authentic colour scheme, period markings, and intricate details, making it ideal for collectors, dioramas, and historical transport layouts. |
