Bahnfest 2016 - Continental Preview Day

MATT TAYLOR tells us about this annual continental preview day, held last weekend.

Firstly I would like to thank everyone who attended Bahnfest 2016, which was held here at our shop and headquarters near Arundel, West Sussex.

Bahnfest has grown over the last few years to become an enjoyable event showcasing the latest new items from continental brands such as Noch, Fleischmann, Roco, Marklin and many more. We also offered our customers some good bargains on the day! I would also like to thank John Hills from Minitrains for attending our event this year.

Craig (who has written for Right Lines many times) was on hand to display scenic techniques as on his N Scale layout using Kato UNITRACK.

This year we had multiple layouts on display including two narrow gauge layouts showing off Roco and Minitrains HOe. We also had two HO layouts displaying the latest in digital technology, Craig displayed his new layout showcasing the use of scenic products. We also had the new Piko SmartControl Digital System available for customers to have a go with.

Hopefully you will all be able to attend our next event, which will be our Open Weekend on 3rd and 4th September. This will be our biggest Open Weekend ever, and we are right in the middle of planning it now. See you there!
