Preiser 2016 New Items

NATALIE TRICKETT tells us what new items from Preiser are due for release in 2016.

Preiser news!

As you know, Preiser manufacture many different model figures, in almost every scale, to add a 'lived in' feel to your layout. While there are quite a few new releases this year I have highlighted those of note below.

OO/HO Scale

PR28207 Grandma Watering Flowers – Ideal for gardens and allotments. Is there a place for this sweet old lady in your life?

PR17712 Pallet Truck with Pallets - suitable for both British and Continental layouts. A versatile set ideal for depots and yards, this would be a great item to add to your layout if you have a warehouse or builders yard scene.

PR10723 Seated People and PR10726 Standing People – these can be placed almost anywhere on your layout, adding a bit of life to parks, stations, or on the street.

Preiser are releasing a Medieval Market range in OO/HO scale. Even though trains clearly weren't around back in the Dark Ages these would be brilliant on a layout to depict a historical re-enactment. You really could have fun with these if you have a blank area or field available to add something a bit different to your layout!

There is everything from jousting, knights in combat, medieval food and beer stalls, maids and a box of unpainted figures.

G Scale

PR45518 Pope Francis in G Scale – for those looking for some divine intervention!

PR44921 Bavarian Folk (3). Although billed as Bavarian, these figures can represent normal folk on any early epoch German railway layout.
