The class 66 locomotives were built in 1996 to replace and update the freight fleet used by EWS. Over 200 of these locomotives were ordered from the EMD department and were built in London in Ontario (Canada). These locomotives are used to haul heavy freight all over the country and can still be seen hauling containers, ballast and multitudes of other cargo.
