It stayed as the standard box until 1968 when the GPO introduce their modern replacement, the K8. However, most of the country's K6s remained in service and many still survive today. This makes this an ideal item to add to layouts based on the pre-nationalised railways of the late 1930’s right up to modern image. It would also be appropriate to display with 1/43rd scale diecast vehicles. This high-quality O scale pre-painted resin model comes with glazing plus decoration representing the interior features and measures 59mm high with a base of 21mm square. Tweet
