It is characterized by the car interior consisting of long seat and semi-cross seat sections and doors laid out asymmetrically in front and rear direction and rooftop brake resistor, etc. The golden-yellow stripe is associated with the harvest of golden rice, while the pink stripe represents the Toki, a Japanese crested ibis bird inhabiting Sado Island in Niigata. Additionally, the design incorporates features tailored for heavy snowfall, including the shape of the front and specialized equipment -The contents of the rolling stock set are the same as the “Series E129-100 2-Car Set” (Item Number: 10-1736).
