To celebrate the 60th anniversary of N gauge, this release revisits the Kiha 20 series, one of the original N gauge line-up staples, first introduced in 1957. The Kiha 20 was a versatile diesel railcar that served local lines across Japan, including variants designed for cold climates, and remained in operation until 1991, shortly after the transition to JR.

This reproduction model faithfully captures the charm of the early N gauge products:

• Orange 1 – the classic orange and cream livery from the golden era of JNR
• Orange 2 – the single-car metropolitan colourway used from the end of JNR into the JR era
