10-559 Series 383 "Wide View Shinano" 4-Car Addition Set
The 383 series is a pendulum type vehicle developed for the image enhancement of the Shinano Express, which was prepared for the 1998 Nagano Olympics, as a replacement for the 381 series. We are active in limited express "wide view Shinano" including operation to Osaka mainly on Chuo West Line.
Main features
? Reproduce the distinctive rounded top shape and faithfully reproduce the panoramic cab
? Adopts KATO's original "Pendulum mechanism". The realistic curve passing scene that leans the vehicle body and approaches the actual vehicle.
? A combination of 3 types of formations can reproduce various formation patterns such as 6 stations, 8 stations, and 10 stations.
? A8, A102, A202 formations of JR Tokai Godou area affiliation are modeled as prototypes.
