When the railroad transport of autos was restarted from Nissan Auto Tochigi Factory, car carriers KU 5000 were repainted in tricolor, Nissan Motor’s corporate color of that time. Combined in the auto- transport-dedicated trains, etc., they carried the cars manufactured by the factory from Utsunomiya to Yokohama Hommoku port (for exports) and Chidoricho (for domestic distributions). Selecting “Cedric”(Y31) and “Pulsar”(N13) cars often seen carried by KU 5000, as the prototypes, Kato will make and release a scale model car set of 8 pcs. in 7 colors. Tweet
