This decoder is suitable for use in digital mode (DCC, mfx) as well as in analog mode (DC). All LGB locomotives from year of construction 2014 can be retrofitted with the 28-pin interface. Many vehicles with the old 10-pin interface can be converted using the interface adapter 55529. Vehicles without interface can be converted using the enclosed interface board, size of the interface board approx. 65 mm x 40 mm.
