The famous British Road Services crest is printed in full colour on the Dualdrive cab of the fork lift, which Shelvoke & Drewry introduced as a direct competitor to the American Hyster forklift. Its capacity of being able to lift between 12000 and 18000 lbs with a lift height of up to 29 feet made it a desirable vehicle for use with the Armed Forces as well as with railway companies. First produced in 1952, the Freightlifter went on until 1974, with one or two re-designs along the way. Our highly detailed model is a tribute to a great little workhorse. Tweet
