They begin with the release of this kit, a station building based on Tan-y-Bwlch. This attractive, single-story building nicely complements the current PECO Great Little Trains series of FR-inspired rolling stock. Plus the arrival of the KATO England locomotives will be keeping the Ffestiniog Railway at the forefront of many modellers' minds. The kits features some very fine detailing, such as the combination of textured slate and shingle-type roof plus the ribbed wall sides, replicating the simple, rustic nature of the building. It may be a model of a specific location but of course this should not restrict its appeal - you can imagine this building being ideal to represent a village hall, cricket pavilion or scout hut.
