Piko 35015 PIKO Digital Booster

The Booster increases the current capacity of the PIKO Digital System on your G-Scale layout. It can provide up to 22 volts and 5 amps to the track. This gives you the ability to enjoy digital operation of a larger layout with more trains, or even multiple independent track layouts. Each Booster powers an electrically isolated track section or “block”. A Booster must not be connected to the same block as the Digital Central Station, another Booster, or any other power source. A momentary bridging of the electrical gap as a train passes from one block to another is normal and acceptable. However, never allow a loco (or a coach / wagon with metal wheels) to remain in place across the gap.
