New for 2021: The PIKO TT model of the 119 series, like its prototype, was derived from the clear, robust and functionally reliable construction of the V 180 from PIKO. Since this was done with constructive consistency and high manufacturing quality, it convinces with balanced running smoothness and considerable traction. The locomotive is driven by a motor with two precisely balanced flywheels. The drive takes place on four axes. The shape and color of the locomotive, known as the “submarine” because of its portholes, is not inferior to its fine mechanical precision. The locomotive has close coupling kinematics, white / red lighting that changes with the direction of travel and a PluX digital interface, sound retrofitting is in preparation. Marked as DR Ep.IV with a high top light.
