Novelty 2022: Variant of RH 1044 in execution as RH 1144.2 of ÖBB in epoch VI. In the model of RH 1144.2 all peculiarities and details of the original were considered. With the newly constructed PIKO 1044/1144, there will also be authentic models of the high order numbers of this series in 1:87 for the first time. The characterful locomotive face of the former ÖBB parade horse was excellently taken in model conversion, as well as the striking side section of the vehicles, which made challenges for mold construction with the pronounced beads and the typical "portholes". The resulting impression of an ideal optical effect continues in the bogies of the locomotive. Last but not least, the new 1144 is technically convincing: a five-pole PIKO engine, on whose wave two finely scared flywheels sit, ensures uniform propulsion. Model Bahner, which prefer the digital operation, benefit from the PLUX22 sound decoder installed in the sound variant already factory. Today, obligatory light change was realized as the attractive leaderular fluid in contemporary LED technology. It is not self-evident, however, the available at the PIKO model also existing and switchable in digital operation lighting of the cab. - Release Date: 11.2022
