Novelty 2022: Variant of the BR 140 in Beige-Blue painting of the BR in Epoch IV. With the series 140 in the epoch IV, Piko again turns to an absolute classic of the Deutsche Bundesbahn. The bread and butter lokomotives achieved great popularity due to their high number of pieces and decades of use. The PIKO model has numerous extras, including freestanding grip poles, a digitally switchable cab lighting and enclosed brake hoses. The five-pin PIKO engine, which drives all four axes, ensures with its two great swinging masses and the power reduction over eight wheels for excellent running properties. In order to ensure a high tensile force, the compact model has next to the zinc pressure casting frame over two pit tires, which sit on the inside-running axes of both bogies in diagonal arrangement to each other. The model has all the PIKO standards, including a PLUX22 interface, light change white / red and short coupling kinematics.
