The first cork tank cars were built in the early nineties on behalf of the wagon hire company KVG. Constructed in a modern, lightweight steel construction, the three halves of the boiler inclined downwards allow the largest possible emptying of the transported goods, such as mineral oils, petrol, diesel and the like. Suitable for higher speeds, the wagons were soon queued in the car fleet of other Undertakers throughout Europe. Most of the wagons are set as private cars in the special freight car parks of the respective state railways. They can be found on the rails throughout Europe.
