Novelty 2022 With the H0 model of the Vectron electric locomotive, PIKO fulfils the wishes of PIKO fans who have opted for models based on state-of-the-art railway technology both as system operators and collectors. With the Vectron, PIKO delivers a high-precision model that has numerous extras based on a solid die-cast zinc frame and the equipment with proven PIKO standards. The proven PIKO engine with two large flywheel masses ensures excellent running characteristics. The tractive force of the locomotive, which is driven by all four axles, is amplified by two traction tyres, which sit diagonally to each other on the internal axles of both bogies. The front or rear lamps are illuminated by LEDs, whose red or white changes with the direction of travel. The outwardly elegant appearance of this model includes a precisely reproduced technical "roof landscape" and carefully detailed bogies with exemplary wheel disc profiles.
