Thirty class 67 diesel locomotives were built in the late 1990's and were designed for use on heavy freight services such as mail and travelling post services. Two class 67's were reliveried to haul the Royal Train on request and a majority of the rest were sent to other areas in the UK to continue freight services and express passengers.
