Unimog – the “watch dog” of the Berlin fire brigade
For many years, it was the “watch dog” of the Berlin fire brigade. When it came to local journeys close to the fire station, the firemen could quickly jump in and drive off in the enclosed Westfalia cab. The traditional model makers, who have long sought and found their prototypes with the Berlin fire brigade, are now able to put the most recent Unimog in the programme into official service.

Chassis, trailer coupling, and cardan part, rear fenders, and wheels black. Cab, flatbed, and flatbed insert red. Auer blue light, transparent blue, inserted and coloured red. Black front bumper and black radiator grille with silver Mercedes-Benz star. Interior with steering wheel black. Front headlamp rings silvered, window frames printed black. Ornamental strip and door handles on the sides painted silver. Indicators orange. Coat of arms and Berlin fire brigade lettering on the doors. Front headlight bowls painted silver. |
