We went to England with the new generation of Mercedes-Benz
They drove from the Lower Rhine to England - a regular forwarding sprint, so to speak. The freight forwarder Nellen & Quack first drove Kurzhauber - a model was already presented by WIKING - and then also the new generation "NG" from Mercedes-Benz. Carl Hermann Nellen and August Quack founded the company in Rheydt in 1884. Reconstruction began in 1948 and in 1958 there was already 7,000 square meters of storage space and a respectable fleet of vehicles available. After several years of belonging to the BTL Group, Heiner Hoffmann took over all shares in 2008 and, together with his team, formed a medium-sized, owner-managed company - as was once the case under the name Nellen & Quack.
