This Henschel box semitrailer marked the beginning of a successful post-war company: in 1949, the brothers Heinrich and Rudolf Bruns founded a plumbing and plumbing business in Lengenermoor. When the brothers started producing their own steel boilers at the end of the 1950s, transport capacity was needed. The mighty Henschel-Hauber, whose two-axle box trailer shows an early boiler for domestic central heating, is reminiscent of this time. WIKING is thus also including the two-axle box trailer with side door engravings in its range. It is based on the authentic box trailer with only one axle. The truck and trailer with the Henschel as the draft horse appears as powerful as it is contemporary. The Kassel truck builders entered the reconstruction years of the post-war decade with the distinctive Hauber. The cabin looks slightly pulled back behind the engine stem, but the long hood with the mighty dipsticks is just bursting with visual power. Extensive engravings on the rear window and roof vents, but also on the radiator grille and bonnet are well proportioned on the tractor. Of course, the radiator grille has the typical Henschel star and is even used as a separate part. There is also the Henschel lettering on the side and the raised hood buckles. The box trailer enjoys the two-tone design option - the rear doors can of course be opened. but the long hood with the mighty dipsticks is just bursting with visual power. |
