Especially in municipal operations and waste management tasks, chassis were used again and again and later outfitted with new bodies for compacted garbage. One example is the three-axle MAN that operated with a modern body designed for picking up bulky refuse. Driver’s cab white, chassis with cardan shaft carmine red. Black radiator grille with MAN Diesel lettering and Büssing logo painted silver. Interior black. Compacted garbage body with refuse container, floor panel, compactor mechanism, and telescopic cylinders orange. Inserted transparent orange warning light. Wheel rims carmine red.
