The Fuchs excavator is used on the three-axle chassis. Especially in the construction boom of the 1960s, construction companies, but also municipalities, helped the tried-and-tested Fuchs F 301 excavator to achieve new mobility by simply mounting it on the robust chassis. The corner hood was considered indestructible at the time, and many of the Fuchs crane trucks were still in use until the 1990s. Today, the F 301 is considered the best-known Fuchs excavator, after all it has been delivered in more than 15,000 units in two decades. In retrospect, the success may not come as a surprise, because the manufacturer continued to develop the excavator in the years of production and also offered numerous work equipment.
