The trailer trains that were customary in the building materials sector, which until then had shaped the construction sites in the supplier area, were falling behind more and more - the articulated lorries were simply more manoeuvrable and just as resilient. While WIKING miniaturized the legendary Blumhardt rear tipper early on, the traditional model makers are now creating a rear tipper with the new shape, the wooden side barracks of which create a completely new look. In fact, this type of construction was once typical everywhere and characterized the transport of building materials until well into the 1980s.
