Claas combine harvester Commandor 116 CS Article no. 077834 First Claas Youngtimer as a precision model in 1:32 The Commandor 116 accompanied the Claas combine harvest era in the last decade of the last millennium - the performance of the model built from 1993 to 1995 was groundbreaking even then. Today, this self-driver has long been a classic car legend, which is of course still in use on numerous farms. The cutting width of the combine is six meters. In the Commandor works an eight-cylinder engine, which makes 276 hp. The front track is 2.75 meters, the rear side is up to 2.90 meters. The driver's cab has a comfortable full-view cabin with fan and filter, but also compressor cooling system and heating. The model comes at the top of the grain tank to at least 3.80 meters in height. Without a cutting carriage, the Commandor 116 brings it to a length of 7.70 meters. Claas Commandor even reached harvest world record The type precursors of the Commandor 116 had technologically gained significantly: To increase the performance of the large combine harvesters of the former agricultural machine generation, replaced Claas in the CS combine harvester through a shaker "Cylinder System" (CS) with eight separator cylinders. In 1981, the new system was first introduced in the Dominator 116 CS. This machine continued to work with a 1.58 meter wide threshing drum. Behind the drum, there were eight separation cylinders with collection baskets arranged underneath. The concave had the task of separating as many grains as possible from the straw. The straw was taken over by the separation cylinders and forcibly transported to the straw hood. This type of production resulted in a uniform flow of the crop. From the thin straw layer, the grains could be very effectively separated. Both the basket spacing of the separating baskets and the speed of the separating cylinders could be adjusted to suit the crop. To better distinguish between the machines with shakers and cylinder system, the CS machines were renamed from 1986 in Commandor. In 1990, with a Claas Commandor, the harvesting world record of 358 tons of harvested wheat could be set in eight hours. The combine harvester with CS system was still produced until 1995 by Claas. The details of the model are varied and movable, so that a variety of functions make the model operation true to the original. Of course, the wheels are miniaturized as well as the precise mobility of the steerable rear wheels, which also make the 1:32 precision model incredibly agile. On the full-view cab, which has a finely reproduced interior, the mirrors can be folded up and down. The ladder is rotatably arranged. As in field operation, the height of the mower receptacle can be adjusted. The grain tank can be opened also has an integrated and movable auger, which is extendable upwards. The spout can be swiveled to a wide range as in field use, while the rear tray can be adjusted in three positions. The mower reel can be rotated with its individual tines as in the harvesting operation, but can also be separated for road transport. The trolley is then suitable for easy mowing of the mower. This can of course be attached to the Commandor. but can also be separated for road transport. The trolley is then suitable for easy mowing of the mower.
