Today, this classic is considered a collector’s item. And, the re-imports from the sunny state of California back to Europe clearly illustrate: In the United States, Germany's state carriage of the late fifties was also held in equally high regard in the stately colours that were rather rarely found on the domestic roads of the land of the Economic Miracle. Body light azure blue, seat and steering wheel salmon red. Radiator grille and bumpers painted aluminium silver. Chassis with cardan shaft in black-grey. Wheel rims light azure blue with contrasting silver, tyres imprinted with white wall rings. Radiator grille surfaces imprinted black. All-around window frames as well as ornamental strips and door handles painted silver.
