After a good one-hour work, the different houses - school, fish pavilion and half-circle café are legendary - are glued together and precisely placed. Everything else is left to the imagination of the WIKING friend, who can arrange and admire the WIKING world of transport in all its details with the historical models and the complementary accessories from revitalized forms or even his collectors' items. In fact, nothing so authentically recalls the actual WIKING product philosophy of the legendary founder Friedrich Peltzer as the roll-out traffic plan - once suitable for every kitchen table or school desk.
WIKING building arc makes roadmap complete historically
When the historic WIKING road map recently returned to the collector's hand as an original reprint, the commendation of the collector's friends should not be long in coming. In fact, the enthusiasm was so great that WIKING's traditional model makers, by popular demand, followed the street plan with the accompanying building arc. Thus, the entire WIKING world of traffic can finally be authentically experienced with little effort - as street plandiorama in the contemporary flair of a stylized city. To be sure, the cut-out arch now looks stylized, different in 1952, when WIKING founder Friedrich Peltzer meaningfully completed the world of experience of "his" still young transport models. Plastic kits did not exist yet instead, cutout sheets with a variety of themes for boys and girls alike were part of the tangible toy portfolio of those years. Paper kits or - preferably for girls - dress sheets for cutting were indeed for minimalism and modesty of those years, but could inspire the happy children for hours, days, even weeks. And at WIKING, thanks to the building cut-out arch, which was, after all, produced until 1965, an entire city grew up to scale. WIKING makes the original reprint, which now fits in with the roadmap, even more user-friendly, because the die-cuts help to make the previously laborious cutting unnecessary.
