10-1299 155 series school trip train "Hinode · Kibo" 8 both basic set
The 155 Series School Trip Train, based on the latest 153 Series Train at the time, appeared in 1959 as a school trip exclusive vehicle for school children who became junior high school students after the postwar baby boom.
The low roof structure of all vehicles was adopted so that there was no restriction on the entry section used, resulting in a unique square body structure.
In order to avoid handling the students on the way for school trips, we will give priority to securing the in-vehicle space by narrowing the width of the door to get on and off, and adopt box seats of 6 people on one side + 4 people on one side. In addition to placing a large removable table in all the box seats, a very unique device was seen everywhere unlike any other.
In addition, we adopt bright color of dark blue and yellow as school trip color and are called "hinode form train" from used train name.
