With the BR 132/232 PIKO offers another highly detailed model of a DR classic. The PIKO model impresses with the successful mold construction and the faithful realization of all relevant details of the respective model machine. The PIKO models of the 132 series of the DR and 232 of the Deutsche Bahn AG are characterized by the finest paint and printing, free-standing handlebars, a die-cast zinc frame and a powerful five-pole motor, which guarantees balanced running characteristics in combination with two balanced flywheels. The lighting is done by means of LEDs. The cab lighting and tail light can be switched digitally with a PluX22 decoder. The model has two traction tires that sit diagonally on the inner axles of the two bogies. The power is taken over all wheels. The model comes with a PluX22 interface, a sound retrofit with the largest possible speaker is prepared.
