With the H0 model of the Vectron "Flixtrain" electric locomotive in epoch VI, PIKO fulfills the wishes of PIKO fans, who have opted for models based on state-of-the-art railway technology both as plant operators and as collectors. With the Vectron, PIKO supplies a high-precision model that has numerous extras based on a solid die-cast zinc frame and the proven PIKO standards. The proven PIKO engine ensures excellent running characteristics with two large flywheels. The tractive power of the locomotive, which is driven by all four axles, is amplified by two traction tires, which are arranged diagonally on the inside axles of both bogies. The lighting of the front and rear lights is via LEDs whose red or white changes with the direction of travel.
