The great WIKING documentation for the 75th anniversary
"WIKING Worlds - Car Models with Comprehensive Lust and Passion" - this is the title of the new book documenting the 75th anniversary of WIKING-Modellbau. 75 years of WIKING - ever since, new WIKING worlds have been created that are both impressive and fascinating at the same time. On 192 pages, extensive photo documentation - including many panoramic images - convey a vivid impression of those WIKING worlds that captivate the viewer as creative as they are impressive. They are proof of a tremendous passion of the people for whom WIKING often became a life companion. Generations not only turn the WIKING brand and its miniatures into model myths, but are also inspired by their own individual charm. In the past few decades, new model worlds have been created time and again, as well as stories about WIKING model making. Authentic eyewitness reports and detailed background reports on the development of the legendary model making workshops are also available. But also previously unpublished insights into the WIKING archive give the car and model interested an idea what makes Germany's most traditional car model brand in the scale 1:87 - the infinite collecting desire and tangible passion. This also documents the extensive sample cards from the mold archive with the original moldings. Just looking at it opens up new, interesting aspects of how the bodies and components in the molds were put together.
