WIKING is now building the classic motor boat with a mint green deck on a white hull. The traditional model builders also designed the trailer to match. The large motorboat was once very popular with fans of collectors because it made games more varied in 1963 – at least until 1988. What’s more: the sports boat with an outboard motor actually reflects the zeitgeist of the leisure society of the German economic miracle. After all, the loaded boat trailer in the large WIKING world of small miniatures served as an alternative to caravans and car trailers, in order to direct the tow hook – either “ex works” or glued to the rear as an accessory – to its very own purpose.
