With design & function - the new Rosenbauer "RT" generation
It has become the big sensation in fire engine construction - and that despite the postponed Interschutz 2020. The era of hybrid fire engines has begun at Rosenbauer. With “Revolutionary Technology”, a completely new overall concept is being launched, which WIKING is introducing as a 1:43 precision model right at the start of the new decade. The model shows the avant-garde design of the fire engine, similar to the one used when the Rosenbauer Panther was presented. In June, Rosenbauer presented the “Erlkönig”, a technical prototype that already showed all the essential features of the future emergency vehicle. So it was time for a name change, away from the concept and design study, the Concept Fire Truck (CFT), towards the independent vehicle type "RT". With the designation “RT” (Revolutionary Technology), the Rosenbauer nomenclature is continued and the special character of the vehicle is emphasized. The vehicle answers new questions and is based on completely new approaches and technologies. The first emergency vehicles go to the Berlin fire brigade, the Brandweer Amsterdam and the Dubai Civil Defense. On September 23, 2020, Rosenbauer finally presented the first vehicles to enthusiastic customers, technology partners and the highly interested press. Product details
The "RT" series is available on a scale of 1:43 and enjoys the most careful printing at WIKING. Particularly noticeable: the glass doors provided by Rosenbauer for the rear entrance to the cabin are transparent in the model and allow the viewer to see. The prints of the Rosenbauer trademark, “fire brigade” lettering and “112” letters are on the side and rear blinds. The high-quality model consists of painted zinc die-cast components, which are combined with plastic elements and finished with filigree printing. |
