When the little chubby cheek got the oil heater replenished
In distribution transport in particular, the mineral oil companies were forced to use small, agile vehicles in the narrow streets and alleys. The little sister of the MAN chubby cheek was just right in the sixties when it was supposed to supply households with oil with its compact structure. In fact, it was the time when households across Germany converted from fossil fuels to central oil heating or at least provided oil stoves in their living rooms for cozy warmth. The number of fuel oil tankers increased rapidly in the sixties because the demand everywhere went up. WIKING miniaturized the MAN 415 based on historical documents.
Pebble gray driver's cab with fenders, anthracite gray interior. Chassis with cardboard part and rims purple-red. Silver-plated front headlights, orange printed indicators. Tank structure with papyrus white base plate. Red grille with silver trim. Blue flank stripe on the tank structure with yellow printing "Fuels - heating oil". Rear taillights printed in red and indicators in orange. |
