Wiking 080016 Volkswagen 411 Taxi 1968-72 Was £15.00 now only £12.50 Out of stock but available to order Brand: Wiking Part Number: 080016 Our Code: WK080016 The VW 411 cut an impressive figure as a taxi limousine, but the cab trade did not really want to exchange the Wolfsburg car with a rear engine for the Mercedes-Benz diesels that were omnipresent at the time. There wasn't enough space under the bonnet to stow the passengers' suitcases there, although the four-door car with the striking turn signals and rear lights offered adequate space for passengers. So the 411 remained a rarity at German taxi stands, but it fits in effectively with the series of historic vehicles of the WIKING cab guild. Tweet
