There had never been anything like this before or after! The traditional model makers are now revitalizing the historical forms to present the model as a "VW Garage". The round garage was completely different in the 1960s - in form and function. From the point of view of the WIKING makers, it fulfilled a double benefit: on the one hand, this hand-filling accessory was seamlessly part of the big world of small WIKING miniatures, on the other hand it became a welcome “pocket box” for the young collector community.
