This time freight Henschel once brought magazines and newspapers to Berlin - just time freight. The name of the forwarding agency was born in the 1960s, but there was a German-German entrepreneurial history behind it. After his Stendal forwarding agency was expropriated, 24-year-old Horst Walter Schröter and his wife were driven to Berlin in 1952 to start over. Business began to boom, and as early as 1955 the haulage business was expanding. Büssing, Henschel and Mercedes-Benz were among the first vehicles that were all equipped for long-distance transport. In 1960, Spedition Schröter was expanding and quickly began buying up other haulage companies. Horst Walter Schröter's reputation in the industry grew. In 1962 the company Zeitfracht was finally founded. The starting point was the order to transport newspapers and magazines from West Germany to West Berlin. This marked the beginning of the group of companies. The Time Cargo Wing should be introduced as a symbol of change. The transition from Spedition Schröter to Zeitfracht was seen as the result of changed market requirements - scheduled deliveries were the order of the day!
